Spring of '07. For the Disco Biscuits all parts were now moving in synch, everyone was in a great headspace, they were playing like madmen and every single night they really tried to bring something new/fresh/special to the table. The vibes in the lots were that of great appreciation. It could get yucky but the majority knew we were all witnessing the sweet spot of the career. Truly. At least I know for the crew we toured with felt it for damn sure. We still speak of these shows we saw 10 years later. This show represents what could happen on any given mid-week show ,no matter how you felt or where your energy level was at,the boys of Bisco could have the know how to re-arrange your week and set your self into an appreciative and peaceful state.

Set One: Little Lai opener, one of the best songs to quickly get you groovin' and get those start of the show shivvers that keep bringing us back. Its nice and stretched with everyone taking a solo then have a nice nowhere jam session that finds a terrific groove...always warmed up...always in tune. Btw,take a listen at the onstage banter/instructions,its pretty neat how they set up the jam sections. The next sandwich of Heli > inv.Crix > Heli is the stretch of the set if not the show. Its whats for dinner and its why your here. 50 minutes of the "SHIT". They untz it out for a bit, play lazer tag next thing you know Barber and Allen are doing the thump jam on a beautiful rhythm melting into the half-hour Crix of the tour. Again,if there's a tune made for inverting its Crickets and this one is EPIC. At around 6:30 of the nicest jam progressions starts to develop and well at around 13:00 the beginning jam goes straight to heaven...see where it takes you :) Incredible!! Brownie gets good n creepy back through the last part. Blessed. A nice KMitts finishes the set in style, its a great version.

Set Two: They definitely had a nutritious halftime cause they cover Air's Kelly Watch The Stars and if they stretched it to 20 minutes it would be a good Bisco tune lol. Dribble lets us know they aren't fucking around anymore and get DOWN! Its your awesome 25+ minute power version '07 style into a tremendous Floydish transition into one hell of an amazing Orch Theme! Mags is so incredibly good and original here, knowing where to slow it down so Allen can let off a few firecrackers all the while Brownie lays it down sexy. Barber comes in late to the party out of respect, just in time to give it that psychedelic goodness stretching it to Spacebird. Happy, happy version :) Home Again is the show ender you want. Barber goes off! Encore: what a treat! Moshi jam, check those P.A. lyrics :) ...like it was made for the vibe they ease into the end of November Rain like champs. The night ends like it began, fresh and powerful. the soulful Spy shows up which means Mags is the sendoff king this evening. It doesn't take this spot often but this is a VERY psychedelic show. Here's to a great 2007 show. "Just Like That I'm On The Run,ON THE RUN ON THE RUN ON THE RUN ON THE RUN ON THE RUN!!!! We are all very appreciative for nights like this one.

<>BASIS FOR A WEEK<>

Weekly(or close enough) Disco Biscuits Lossless Show

Every couple of weeks(or more) I will post a SBD Disco Biscuits concert. It will be up for 7 days and not accumulative. It's up to you to transcode to an mp3 if you wish to do so. PowerAmp or free software of the like.

Hopefully the pick will be a quality show where you might not of heard too often,is somehow unique and or has fallen under the radar as a kick-ass show. There are so many amazing shows that do not show up on those "top 20" lists / best of 1.0,2.0,3.0 etc...

Enjoy the show and have an amazing day.
